Cultures Around the World in Art
Our culture studies were so popular last year, that we continued with the theme this year as well! Please scroll down farther to see the 2017-2018 original post. We learned a bit about each location, including the country's flag, and created art to reflect their culture in some way. We had time to learn about 8 locations: United States of America, Egypt, the Netherlands, Israel, Brazil, Italy, England, and Russia. The students spent 3-4 weeks in each location with half hour sessions each week.

2017-2018
This year, students traveled around the world! We created passports where students would be stamped into our new destination. They also created suitcases as a portfolio for their work. We learned a bit about each location and created art to reflect their culture in some way. This year we visited 8 locations: Mexico, China, Japan, Germany, Ireland, Kenya, India, and Australia! The students spent 3-4 weeks in each location.
