Louise Nevelson Sculptures
**Class Favorite**
This was a recycle assemblage project using the art element form. Louise Nevelson is known for using scrap wood and other found objects and arranging them in boxes. Each student brought in a shoe box lid, but the rest of our materials were found in the classroom. The classes were challenged to create a variety of height within the box and to repeat the same elements throughout the composition. The lids were put together and spray painted gold as Nevelson did in her later works.
